The exhibition uses eleven selected locations to tell the story of life in Graz in the 1970s. They offer insights into the urban development of a city with a population of 250,000, which established its place within the Austrian and international landscape.

The installation invites visitors to linger, dream, and participate in shaping the experience—for instance, through oracular pronouncements or evolving visions of the future—and views utopia as a collective driving force for change.

Camp Liebenau. Excavation and Memory

The archaeological finds from the site of the former Camp Liebenau in Graz and research conducted on them take centre stage in the exhibition at the Graz Museum. These objects are silent witnesses of history. Exhibiting them combines research, remembrance and social responsibility.

Hey there, democracy!

The exhibition combines elements of current discourse with the history of the Graz as a city. It provides information and opportunities to share your own opinions and experiences and offers inspiration for how to think about democracy, whilst leaving room for questions.
