Flux – Charging station for optimism

Interactive room installation by the ROTER KEIL Art Association

„Everything is in flux; yes, everything flows down the river…”—and isn‘t it still okay to dream. At a time when so much seems to be falling apart, utopias, collective imagination, and the belief in change take on new meaning. Inspired by the visionary, experimental spirit of the 1970s, this interactive spatial installation draws on ideas of optimism, participation, and social change.

Colors, patterns, and unusual spatial levels create a dreamlike atmosphere that deliberately contrasts with the existing architecture, thereby opening up a rebellious, hopeful alternative vision. The installation invites visitors to linger, dream, and help shape the space—for example, through oracle sayings or evolving visions of the future—and views utopia as a collective driving force for change.
