Bibongo. The Children’s City
Children Play City
Bibongians create, build, discover, learn, decide, determine—and all this with a lot of fun. They earn their living in the form of a specifically created currency by working in the city administration or in the museum, in the joinery, in the editorial offices of the media or in many other professions. Children make politics, elect their mayors and city councillors and thus actively help shape their city. They playfully get to know democracy and their own sphere of influence.
The Children’s City is organised by Kinderfreunde Steiermark in cooperation with the GrazMuseum, the Kunsthaus Graz and the Haus der Architektur, and is aimed at children aged 6 to 12. Around 180 children can participate in the free-of-charge project at the same time.
